AMANDA + JAYSON’S ENGAGEMENT

This pilot and soon-to-be teacher are just a month away from their big day so our engagement session was just in the nick-of-time! Amanda & Jason are an adorable couple and quite the quirky pair. Getting to hang with them for the day was such an adventure followed by many laughs. I picked up quickly that Amanda is a gabber such as myself, and the two of us just chatted poor Jayson’s ears off. Jayson is Amanda’s exact opposite where I hardly heard a peep from him the entire session.  Therefore, I have to give some props to Jayson for putting up with our girly antics! He is a true gentleman.

I had the best time with you two, and I am so excited to have you as a part of our Couture family! Looking forward to your wedding day. Can’t wait!

I Love You With All of My Heart

Eighteen years ago today I feel in love with a 16 year old, Led Zepplin lovin’ boy who’s favorite outfit was Umbros and a surf T paired with deck shoes! He wasn’t like the other boys and quickly learned he had the heart of gold. Not to be super cheesy here….but it really was love at first sight! Fast forward eight years ago today I married him!  It was one of the smartest decisions I have ever made.

Jason, you are my rock and my best friend. I love you with all my heart. Happy Anniversary Jair!

HILLARY + HANK’S WEDDING

The weather was perfect. Hillary looked flawless and Hank quite dapper. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop in Gainesville other than  The Thomas Center. So, when Hillary walked up behind Hank for their “first look” , they were so darn sweet it was the making of a beautiful wedding. (watch slideshow to see!)

This “Home-of-the Fightin’ Gators,” University of Florida Alumni and UF College of Medicine Pediatric Doctor and Nurse Practitioner are now husband and wife! Working with Hillary on her wedding this year has been a walk in the park. She has a way at making anyone feel comfortable and important. Hank also has a calm disposition, but after meeting him you find a surprising since of humor. Then, after learning that they both work in Pediatric medicine I could see how big and wide their hearts can be stretched not only in their love for each other, but for countless children and their families. That is LOVE at its greatest!

Thank you for the opportunity to get to know you. Your goals are high and your dreams are big. Your life ahead is full of possibilities. It has been a pleasure being along for this ride and I look forward to hearing about your amazing accomplishments in the future! Congratulations on your marriage!

MCKENNA, ADDICUS AND RAINE

Giggle. Giggle. Giggle. If you were to look up that word in the dictionary I am sure you would fine a photograph (hopefully mine) of these three kiddos! I first got to meet these three little people back in September 2007 in their home in Jacksonville. The oldest, McKenna, was completely enamored with what I was doing and was a wonderful helper with her two younger siblings. Addicus and Raine were not 100% thrilled I was there. Luckily, I had a trunk in my trunk (no, not junk in my trunk) which I usually keep stowed for sessions with children to distract them and keep them wrangled.

Fast forward two years and these guys are just as cute and full of giggles. It is so neat-o to watch these little ones growing up and to see such a change in their appearance. I thought it was perfect their Mom decided to have me back to their home to capture them in the every day environment where they feel most themselves.  Kids feel so much more comfortable in their bodies and in front of the camera than us adults, and these guys were precious with me this time.  I believe we made a memory during these sessions. Well, at least I did.

THE 2010 BABY PLAN

That’s right….The Baby Plan is back! Some of you may know that I have offered The Baby Plan in the past. It was instrumental in the start of my business and very much enjoyed getting to know all of those families. Over these last few months I have had quite a few inquiries about The Plan so I decided to take on just a few new Mommies!

This time I am thrilled to have a fun gift bag to offer exclusively to my planners! The new products we have are so adorable and are such fun ways to use those beautiful images of your little one! The standing tri-fold storyboard are basically three frames hinged together to create a stunning piece of art. You pick your favorite three images from any of the sessions throughout the year. The baby bag tag is exactly that! You choose what image you would like to help personalize your baby bag. But, my favorite is the brag book of ten images from the year! This little book is perfect to keep in your bag or purse to show off your little cutie! I am thrilled to offer these items along with the giant savings! Keep in mind our session fees alone range from $125-$200, so when I say savings I mean it!
