Oh, happy day. These two love bird met me out in down town St. Augustine for their engagement session. Melissa had emailed me a list of location ideas that she wished for so I was bound and determined to make her wish my command! I always tell my clients when we first meet for their photos, that it takes me a few minutes and about twenty frames to “warm up.” The first few images generally aren’t my favorite, but with these two I was excited to break that mold. The day was perfect and the light was magical. I was thrilled.
Melissa and Randy are certainly a quite pair together but after spending the afternoon together I got to watch them connect. Oooo this boy loves this girl. It was sweet to watch. I could tell that having a camera on them for a few hours wasn’t their favorite idea of an afternoon together, but I think after seeing the photos they impressed even themselves. There is certainly a lot more to these two than they let on, and I am thrilled to help tell their story.
