COURTNEY’S BABY BUMP

Yep, I am still on unofficial vacation but I have a long list of blogs to post including two spring weddings (that are well over due) so stay tuned for those!

Meet Courtney. Hello. Beautiful doesn’t cut it, a?! I met Courtney and her sister Jessica when they booked me for a session. Two adult sisters to photograph…I was a little bewildered on how to do it honestly. They wanted to have professional photos taken of the two of them as a surprise for their Mother’s birthday. It was a super sweet idea and I was up for the challenge! Turns out they are knock-outs both inside and out, so that made it just that much easier. Fast forward two years and Courtney is going to have her first baby! This time Jessica gifted Courtney her session. This family sure is into photos!

Courtney, I couldn’t be more excited about your news!! I wish you and your fiance a speedy delivery and a happy future with your little peanut.

COLTON JAMES

So many babies this month and Colton James was my only boy! You might remember Sara and Garrett’s Maternity Session last month. Well, they finally brought home their precious baby just 5 days before I got to meet him. Generally, this is the perfect age to photograph a newborn because they pretty much sleep through the session and curl up so easily for me. Well, this little guy took a bit more convening but once we got him to sleep he was an angel and his Mommy was more than relieved. I am in love with the shots we got out of this session and couldn’t be more excited for Sara and Garrett!

Congratulations you two on this little miracle. He is perfect!

BABY ADDISON

It is so neat-o to reconnect with old friends on Facebook. Especially when it has been sixteen years! Kaycee and I were childhood friends and if I dug hard enough I think I could find at least a couple awesome blackmail photos which sadly I swore I wouldn’t blog. So, when Kaycee contacted me about my spring Baby Plan I was ecstatic! Then, when she met me at the studio with her beautiful little girl I was all smiles. The two of us all grown up and Mommies. Needless to say we were quite gabby trying to catch up with almost two decades!

Addison is flawless. I mean this girl is beautiful! At only five days old she smiled in her sleep through her entire session, and didn’t even wake while being tickled and poked when we placed the sunflowers around her. These sunflowers, Kaycee’s favorite flower, were hand picked by her Granddaddy from his sunflower field the evening before her session. Kaycee found them in a bucket by her car before she left the house. Now if that isn’t love then I don’t know what is.

Congratulations you Kaycee and Ley on your sweet little miracle! It was wonderful to get to meet Addison and I look so forward to watching her grow!
